Burden according to Merriam-Webster:
- Something that is carried, a load, responsibility, duty
- Something oppressive or worrisome
- The bearing of a load, capacity for carrying cargo
Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you, Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. The word of God commands us to cast all of our care, worry, anxiety, and concerns on Him. Once He has them, we no longer have them.
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.
Philippians 4:6 AMPC
Epistle to the Philippians was written between 60 and 64 A.D. While Paul was first imprisoned in Rome. In circumstances that in a natural sense Paul had no control over, without modern “safeguards” that give many peace of mind today (such as social structures, benefits, free health care, etc), and under an oppressive and ruthless rule of Rome, imprisoned, Paul writes “Don’t worry about anything” (NLT).
Jesus said:
Therefore I tell you, stop being perpetually uneasy (anxious and worried) about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink; or about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life greater [in quality] than food, and the body [far above and more excellent] than clothing? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?

Worry is misplaced trust.
I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!

Jesus is able to help you in any area of your life, issues in your character, in any life situation, in any circumstances! Nothing is too hard for Him, and nothing is impossible with Him! He is the life, and He is the Way!
He is El Shaddai, God who is more than enough! Most powerful, almighty. Creator of heaven and earth! And He is your Heavenly Father!
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
