Faithfulness in us

Proverbs 20:6 KJV
Faithfulness is needed
Example: Are you a reliable friend?
- We were made to be faithful with what God trusted to our care, God placed man in the garden to cultivate the land. (Gen. 2)
- We will give an account for the talents given (Matt 25:14-30). We will receive rewards for faithfulness.
Jesus gave us insight how to grow in faithfulness:
“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”
Luke 16:10 KJV

The change in you!
“And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude], And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God’s image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore, rejecting all falsity and being done now with it, let everyone express the truth with his neighbor, for we are all parts of one body and members one of another. [Zech. 8:16.]”
Ephesians 4:23-25 AMPC
Put off the old by putting on the new!
Enemy’s nature no longer visible (Gal. 5:19-21). Enemy has no hold.
Heavenly Father’s nature and character seen through you (Gal. 5:22-23)
Focus:
God has made us new in Christ (2Cor. 5:17), He is faithful, He has made us into His likeness, and by the brilliance of Word of God we can be renewed in our mind to live the life!
“Good and faithful servant”
“Blessed (happy and to be envied) is that servant whom his master finds so doing when he arrives.”
Luke 12:43 AMPC
“If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him], He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself.”
2 Timothy 2:13 AMPC
If you are away from God
“If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].”
1 John 1:9 AMPC
