Are you ready to change?
Acts 2:1-4 KJV
“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
The Book of Acts is the model for our church in 2024. Everything the Holy Spirit was doing in the Book of Acts in the first century He is still doing in Finland today. The question is: are we willing to move with Him? Are we willing to change? Are we hungry and thirsty to see what God has for us today?
Same heavenly firepower is available to us today. We are living in the time of the Holy Spirit, the Book of Acts and the grace of God.
Jesus said in John 7:37:
”If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.“
Are you hungry for revival? Are you willing to change? Are you willing to cry out to God and say “do a work in me, change me, start with me!”
Nehemiah was passionate to see change.
When Nehemiah heard about the condition of Jerusalem, he didn’t just feel bad about it, or complain about it. He went to action, prayed, believed God and took action. He risked his life to see the plan of God prevail in his time.
Revival is about change. To see a change in Finland, we have to see change in our lives. Are you willing to change? As the pillar of cloud by day, and the pillar of fire by night was guiding Israel in the wilderness:
Exodus 13:21-22 KJV
“And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: he took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.”
In this very same way, Holy Spirit is guiding us today (Romans 8:14 “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”). If you are unwilling to move or if you are unwilling to change God will have to find someone else for the task.
“If people don’t want to change, God is not going to sit by waiting for them. He’s going to move on.”
Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne
Repentance brings refreshing. As we contend for revival in Finland, let’s allow the Holy Spirit to do a deep work in each of us. Cry out to the Lord today: “Start with me, Lord!”
Acts 3:19 KJV
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;”
