Ps Sanna
For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. Ephesians 2:10
My prayer is that each member of River Church Finland family would live the good life and fulfill the plan that God has for each and every one.
Bible promises that steps of the righteous man are ordered of the Lord! “The steps of the God-pursuing ones follow firmly in the footsteps of the Lord, and God delights in every step they take to follow him” – Psalm 37:23. He wants to lead us every step of the way!
While steps of the wicked won’t produce anything of worth, we can trust His leading when we are established in His righteousness. “The Lord embraces their paths as they move forward while the way of the wicked leads only to doom” – Psalm 1:6
Let’s be confident this year that we are hearing His voice, and we can rest secure in His promises to lead us. New creation life is manifesting through us and we are bearing fruit to eternity this year – through each member of the Church being divinely led by the Holy Ghost.
It is the Lord who directs your life, for each step you take is ordained by God to bring you closer to your destiny. So much of your life, then, remains a mystery! Proverbs 20:24

FISHERS OF MEN
Mark 1:17-18 (NKJV) has recorded the words of our Savior – the very words He used when He called Peter and Andrew to become fishers of men almost 2000 years ago:
“Then Jesus said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him.”
True Christianity is all about following the example of Jesus. As we learn to know His Word and His Presence better we get a hold of the revelation that in the core of true Christian life is spreading the message of salvation. Jesus is the only way to eternal life. In addition, He wants to give us an abundant life as we seek first His Kingdom according to Matthew 6:33 – when we seek His way of living, loving and leading. True Christianity has never been ceremonial faith observing certain rituals but it is personal faith – you believe in your heart. This means practically that we follow our Master’s example in words and deeds. In the core of following Jesus is preaching of the Gospel. When we learn to know Him – we want to make Him known. Jesus has given us very clear instructions in His Word.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV
This is our time. Now is the time to live according to His Word. It’s time for us to go and declare the Good News of the Gospel. It’s time to lead people to Jesus but the commission doesn’t end there. We also need to teach the Word of God to those who make a decision to receive Jesus into their hearts. This is why we’d like everyone to be a part of homegroup close to the place where they live. Homegroup is a place where you can grow in your faith and where you can bring new people into the fellowship with the family of God. You can reach people nobody else can reach. You are the plan of God for the people around you. If you don’t preach the Gospel to your community then who would preach? Finland will be changed one heart, one family and one community at a time. You just need to take your place in God’s great plan. The Great Commission Jesus gave us is still in effect. The only reason He hasn’t returned yet is that He still wants millions of people to be saved before it’s eternally too late.
This year 2020 will be a year of great growth and multiplication here at River Church Finland. The villages, towns, cities, and suburbs of Finland will hear the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“But He said to them, “Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also because for this purpose I have come forth.” And He was preaching in their synagogues throughout all Galilee and casting out demons. Mark 1:38-39 NKJV
The population of Finland is greater than ever before in history. Just think about certain areas and suburbs of Helsinki. Some of these suburbs have tens of thousands of people living in them in a geographical area of just 2 or 3 square kilometers. Many of these people are like “sheep without a shepherd” – yet many are hungry for real life that is only found in a relationship with God. This is a great opportunity for us. People are longing for hope, answers, and direction for their lives. The Gospel gives great value to every individual. The Gospel births understanding in the hearts of people that their life is significant and special – they’re not designed to be insignificant slaves of the society and its’ systems. Most importantly lost people need the salvation of their soul before they pass on from this time to Eternity. Jesus is still the only way! So we got to preach the Gospel so people can receive this great salvation. We need to have a sense of urgency about the mission God has given each one of us. Let God do a big work in your heart – then He’s able to do the big work through you. God wants you to become a fisher of men among this generation right here in Finland!
