Pastors Tomi and Sanna Lehto
River Church Finland

Pastors Tomi and Sanna are the senior pastors of the River Church Finland for over 10 years. After graduating from the River Bible Institute in Tampa, Florida, they worked and served in the church for several more years until they experienced God’s call to go back to Finland.

They toured Finland as evangelists for 1.5 years, visiting all denominations in more than 40 locations, before God called them to start the River Church and Bible School in Finland.

In addition to the River Uusimaa church, there are also 8 satellite churches and 20 home groups throughout Finland. Their vision is to train up people for full-time ministry and work in the Kingdom of God, specially in Nordic/Baltic region. Hundreds of Finnish and English-speaking students have already graduated from RBI Finland in 11 years, and through the ministerial association (RCFMA), people have been and are being sent to missionary work and ordained for ministry. Pastor Tomi and Sanna’s TV program, Good Life, is broadcasted on television networks in Finland, Sweden, Estonia and via satellite around the world. River Church Finland’s online broadcasts are well-known and watched all over Northeast Europe.

Pastor Ben Kroeske
River Church Netherlands

Pastor Ben Kroeske, together with his wife Jacky, is the founder and leader of The River Church in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. His journey of faith began in 2006 after a radical encounter with Jesus, which led him to attend The River Bible Institute in Tampa, Florida. It was there he met his wife and together they served for six years, growing in faith, leadership, and a passion for revival.

In 2013, Ben and Jacky felt a strong call from God to return to the Netherlands and plant The River Amsterdam, a church dedicated to revival and seeing many encounter God’s power. Since then, the church has grown rapidly, now with over 1,000 members, and a second location in Amersfoort. Their vision is to plant many more churches across the Netherlands in the years to come.

In addition to the growing church network, The River has expanded into River Ministries, which includes missions, evangelism, large-scale crusades, and media outreach, as well as River Schools, which trains students for ministry. Over 20,500 people gave their lives to Christ through the ministry in 2024. Pastor Ben’s leadership continues to impact thousands across Europe and beyond.
