“Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.” (Psalms 91:1-2 NLT)
While the times we live in are continually getting darker: your future will not be dark or gloomy. You shall not be afraid, you shall not be shaken and you shall not be moved!
Lord is your shelter, and He is your refuge!
As you read, study, meditate and speak God’s eternal word it will be deposited into your heart. You can wholeheartedly agree with Psalm 91:
“You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.” (Psalm 91:5-6 AMPC)
By trust (of the heart) to God’s eternal promises you make Him your only refuge. You make Him your shelter. Psalm 119 is loaded with verses on the importance of the word of God:
“Great peace have they who love Your law; nothing shall offend them or make them stumble.” (Psalm 119:165 AMPC)
“BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, to be envied) are the undefiled (the upright, truly sincere, and blameless) in the way [of the revealed will of God], who walk (order their conduct and conversation) in the law of the Lord (the whole of God’s revealed will).” (Psalm 119:1 AMPC)
This is not an automatic process that just takes place while you’re sleeping. It’s a decision to make Him your refuge, by an intense love for His word:
“If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.” (Psalms 91:9-10 NLT)
Declare this over your life:
“He is my refuge!”
“The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.“” (Psalms 91:14-16 NLT)
