But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

The New Creation is God’s plan for everyone!
- The new creation receives the form of Jesus (2 Cor. 5:17, Gal. 2:20)
- The new creation will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven and all the blessings of God as part of God’s family, Eph. 2:19
- Without the rebirth of the Holy Spirit we will not be able to connect with God, who is the Spirit! John 4:24
The power, right, ability, and competence to be a child of God has already been given.
Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

The New should get to guide our lives!
The key to spiritual growth and anointing is that we strengthen the new creation and allow the Word and the Spirit to lead our lives instead of its old and conscientious and carnal life.
Peter knew the truth, through the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, what had already come to him would be revealed (1 Peter 1:9-16).
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 3:9
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
1 John 5:18-20
The new has won the old – Confirm it in yourself!
Know that you are a new creation in Christ, meditate on it, speak it to yourself through the Word of God!
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:1-2
Invited to Grow to Perfection
You, therefore, must be perfect [growing into complete maturity of godliness in mind and character, having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity], as your heavenly Father is perfect. [Lev. 19:2, 18.]
Matthew 5:48
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. And this will we do, if God permit.
Hebrews 6:1-3
The Word of God urges us to grow towards Jesus, who is truly perfect. The old person’s thinking must be completely scrapped. The new creation has the hidden seed of perfection.
God will grow this seed in you through the renewing of His Word and the Holy Spirit, so that the inner reality of Jesus will take shape in you!
Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
Philippians 3:12-15
The given authority to the new creation – Christ in you, body and soul.
Your Physical body is the dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, which happens in the power of the new creation, the new spirit! Speak to your body and soul the Words of God! Be obedient to the Word itself!
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
