“And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?” Luke 13:16 KJV
God’s healing power is not natural healing, neither is it in the realm of the mind, it is spiritual.
“The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?” Proverbs 18:14 KJV
For us to be able to stay strong, we need to be strengthened in the spirit!
Staying strong:
- 1. Knowing Jesus
- 2. Putting our faith to action
- 3. Thinking heavenly
Knowing Jesus
Keep your eyes on Jesus – the Word reveals Him, He came to flesh, He paid the price, died on a cross, was buried, then He rose to new life!
He is seated at the right hand of God!
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2 KJV
– He carried our shame, He paid the price for our sins.
– By His stripes, we are healed.
– As we see Him for who He really is, we are changed!
“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” Revelation 1:17-18 KJV
Putting your faith to action
– Everyone knows some steps to take… so take them!
– Don’t just read the Word, live it out by doing the Word!
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” James 1:2-4 KJV
Act and move by faith. Keep walking in Love!
Thinking heavenly
“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Colossians 3:2 KJV
– Loving your heavenly Father
– Eternity thoughts
– Harvest thoughts
– Heavenly thoughts
– Running the heavenly race thoughts
– Being a blessing to others thoughts
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” Philippians 4:8-9 KJV
You’re in Christ Jesus! You are seated above all things!
Keep your mind fixed!
Praise Him!
Pray in the Holy Ghost!
Take time in the Word!
Spend time with Him!
